    • We wish! Unfortunately they will be an extra charge eep! As we have staff, tolls, petrol costs, setup, pack down , cleaning..... all that fun stuff. But we will always do our best to keep prices to a minimum.

    • For more details on Delivery/ organizing your day this can be discussed closer to your event with our team.

    • Clients are more than welcome to pick up the hired items granted they are aware of the height and dimension of all items and have safe secure storage on arrival.

    • Grumbly pants on for a moment.. We will turn away your hire with a NIL refund ( even if paid in full) if you arrive with unsafe and unsecure storage of our items. We value these gems and they cost a pretty penny to re-build. That's all :)

    • This can be discussed with our team, As we will need all details of venue/ area check in and out times.

    • After hours pick up and drop off can be arranged, additional fees occur before 9am and after 7pm.

  • We require a %30 deposit on all confirmed orders, Final amounts are due 10 Business days prior to your event. Please factor in Public Holidays.

    • Unfortunately if you cancel with more than 7 days to your event MEC will grant a full refund minus your 30% deposit.

    • If the event is cancelled 7 days prior to your date the booking will be NON REFUNDABLE.

    • We may however be able to move your dates if we have the items available. Our staff can communicate this with you further.

  • Balloon Information

    We use the best quality balloons from suppliers who are worldwide leaders in balloon development. We treat our balloons with great care and use Hi-Float in latex balloons to extend their lives.

    Helium-filled latex balloons

    When filled with helium, an 11 inch latex balloon will generally float for between 12-18 hours (Without Hi-Float) or up to 3 days (with Hi-Float), however if your balloon has a metallic or pearl finish, its average flying time reduces to 16-18 hours.

    You can extend the flying time of your helium-filled latex balloons quite significantly by treating the un-inflated balloon with a product called ULTRA HI-FLOAT.  HI-FLOAT contains a water-soluble plastic, which dries inside the balloon to form a coating which helps to retain the helium molecules.

    Air-filled latex balloons

    Air-filled latex balloons do not float, however, they have the advantage of generally having a longer life than helium-filled balloons.  Air-filled balloons can last several days, even weeks, in the right conditions.

    What is Hi‐Float?  

    Hi‐Float is a liquid protective coating that is inserted into the balloon and spread around to prevent helium from escaping as quickly. It is water‐soluble and non‐toxic.  

    Is helium flammable?

    No, helium is not flammable, and therefore very safe to use.   

    What size and type of latex balloons are available? 

    Our range includes two finishes: pearl and standard. Pearl balloons are solid, translucent colours, featuring a sheen similar to a pearl. Standard balloons have an opaque finish and are available in bright colours.
